Charles Tillman School Challenge

Charles Tillman wants to visit your school.

He and his wife Jackie are hosting a School Challenge to benefit their Cornerstone Foundation.

The challenge begins now through March 31, 2016. Anyone – a teacher, parent, grandparent, neighbor – can nominate a school. Then, on behalf of that school, they can rally their community to raise money for the Cornerstone Foundation. Any school in the United States qualifies for this challenge. Cornerstone Logo4

Every school that signs up will receive 2 copies of his new book, The Middle School Rules of Charles Tillman. The winning school will receive 20 copies of his book and an all-day visit from Charles.

The proceeds from this challenge will benefit families through the Tiana Funds and Charles’ Lockers. The Tiana Funds assist economically at-risk persons or families in-need that will strengthen their ability to care for themselves, enhance their stability and security, and improve their quality of life or their ability to contribute to the community. Applications are available at hospitals in Chicago and Charlotte.

Charles Locker

Charles’ Lockers enrich the lives of chronically and critically ill children by providing them and their families with access to iPads, notebook computers, DVD players, portable Play Station game systems, and other electronic handheld games, to pass the time during recovery and treatment. The lockers are in five hospitals in and around Chicago, as well at Fort Hood, where Charles’ father was stationed while serving in the Army. The five lockers are estimated to impact the lives of more than 370,000 ill children and their families annually.
