Brian discusses MSR with former teammate Pat Mannelly on 670 The Score

Brian visited with his longtime Bears teammate, Pat Mannelly, on Jan. 30.

Mannelly, the longtime long snapper, has the distinction of being the longest tenured member in franchise history. He’s currently co-host of a midday sports talk show on 670 The Score. 

You could notice the chemistry between Brian and Pat.

Brian said he was very happy with the the completed book, but he had others in his household who also were impressed.

“It got rave reviews, more importantly from my kids,” Brian said on The Score. “They actually liked the book. I’m not cool to them anymore, unless they need money or a ride. But they thought the book was cool.”

So what is Brian proud of?

“I think kids can relate to it, and maybe draw on some situations they’re going through in their life because my childhood wasn’t easy,” he said. “I had my ups and downs, like every kid has.”
